The course will be offered on February 9-10 and facilitated by Kim Klein.

Klein is an internationally known fundraising instructor and has worked in all aspects of fundraising: as staff, volunteer, board member, and consultant. She is best known for adapting traditional fundraising techniques, particularly major donor campaigns, to the needs of organizations with small budgets. Klein is the author of five books including her most recent, Reliable Fundraising in Unreliable Times. Her classic text, Fundraising for Social Change, now in its fifth edition, is widely used in the field and in university degree programs. She also wrote Fundraising for the Long Haul, Ask and You Shall Receive, and Fundraising in Times of Crisis, which was a runner up for the Terry McAdam Book Award.

The NPTA Fund has recently launched a new version of the Consultant Directory. Check it out here!

The NPTA Fund Consultant Directory serves as a premier resource for helping the West Michigan nonprofit community identify consultant support and technical assistance providers. The new and improved directory provides a complete profile of consultant areas of expertise and services. We are seeking professionals with specific experience serving the unique needs of the nonprofit organizations. Service categories range from board development, strategic planning, and human resources to executive coaching, grantwriting, marketing and more. It is our goal to provide the nonprofit community with accurate and comprehensive information to allow them to seek out the consultant who best fits their needs.

Consultants wishing to be listed in the Directory can view our Consultants page for further details.
